It took almost 4 months, but we're back at it again. We haven't worked on the house in months! I guess we got it nice enough to live in, then gave up on improvements. So after a long sabbatical, we pulled out the drop cloths and rollers and started painting tonight. yeah...oodles of fun.

We've got this huge basement that's just screaming out for paint and a little work. Once it's done, we'll have about double the space we do now.















The stairwell was an ugly mustard yellow. So we threw on a coat of "Innocence" to brighten things up. Sounds like such a pretty color, doesn't it? It's just glorified off-white. Not eggshell..not IVORY....it's INNOCENCE. I bet OFF WHITE doesn't cost 20 bucks a gallon..but INNOCENCE does.

We'll do another coat tomorrow... Then i've gotta do something about that god-awful 1970's wood paneling. Whoever built this house must have owned stock in the "cheesy wood paneling" company. Wow..it's everywhere. Luckily, it paints nicely.

Oh...yeah..i'm wearing a bandana. Have you ever tried to get paint out of your hair?? forget about style, i'm covering my 'fro.
