It's a very quiet weekend here. Just got back from the gym. Two problems...

1. got to the gym, pulled out my iPod...and realized my headphones were sitting at home on the counter. this would be ok...except for the next problem.

2. the "cell phone guy" decided to have a 20 minute conversation with his wife/mistress/secretary/family in the middle of the weight room. Wouldn't want to step out to the lobby and take that call, would ya? oh no...he had to sit right there yappin' away like the rest of the world wasn't there. who takes their cell phone into the weight room??? unless you're a trauma surgeon, there's no pressing need to get called in the middle of your workout.

if nothing else, i learned my lesson...i'll never forget my headphones again.

This is the best time of the year. Penn State and the Steelers are both back in action. Nascar is headed into the Chase. THe Yankees are comfortably out in front of the Red Sox. and there's almost 3 years to go until i have to put up with the god-awful Olympics.

Yes. life is good.

i was all excited for tomorrow, and now it seems wasted...

YOu see, tomorrow is the community yard sale for our street! woohoo! but...since we just moved, we don't have much of anything to sell. i was thinking about selling the cats for 5 bucks each, but don't think i'll do that.

maybe i can pawn off my old clothes on someone and make a buck.

My cat is snoring. what the hell? is that normal?

Apparently, wet food doesn't agree with my cats. I wasn't feeling good after work, so i didn't go to the store and get them dry food. I just fed them a can of wet food for dinner. Five minutes after they ate, they both threw up.

So now my kitchen floor is covered in cat vomit.

After KIPONA, a few of us decided to grill some hotdogs and kick back.
