WOW! It's been almost a week since i updated this! Sorry sorry sorry... I've barely slept this week, so i've been distracted! Damned insomnia. ugh. Looking forward to biking and enjoying the fresh air all weekend. I found a new bike trail thats over 20 miles long, so i'm looking forward to putting some miles on the bike this weekend!

Can't forget that DESPPERATE HOUSEWIVES is back on Sunday. needless to say, the TV is already reserved for my wife that night! I'll have to go into the bedroom if i want to watch the Sunday Night Football game.

Hey! I paid for this fountain with my tax money. So if my sister-in-law Angela wants to wash her feet in it, then that's fine with me! Ellie is obviously amused.  Posted by Picasa

We've had a busy, busy week! Went down to Strasburg and rode the steam train on sunday. I was like a little kid again. so exciting. I went on that train when i was about 7. We went over to ChooChoo Barn and showed my family the trainset. it's still impressive, all these years later. Took the family out to Tokyo Diner last night for sushi. mmmmm.. i love my sushi. I have the "all you can eat" sushi card, so i ALWAYS end up SO FULL. for the next two days, i won't want to think about sushi...but by thursday i'll be ready for it again!

Why is Matt Steal sitting at my desk? Why is he holding up a picture of a pineapple? These are the questions that we must ponder.... Posted by Picasa

My friend Emily was SOOOOOOO happy to get a KISS tshirt. Unfortunately, she set it down on the box marked "to give away", so i gave it away later in the night! Needless to say, i'll get another one for her. How could i deprive someone of this much joy? Posted by Picasa

And now...a moment of zen. Here's the view that greeted me on Monday morning when i finally rolled out of bed at 10am.  Posted by Picasa

This is the greatest dog ever. He is standing on top of the beer keg, guarding it. This is why dogs are "man's best friend", and cats are "somewhat annoying".  Posted by Picasa

The campfire wasn't warm enough, so ellie added a warm Beagle to her lap Posted by Picasa

Here'e me and my buddy James camping this weekend. A whole bunch of my college crew got together and went camping in Potter County (God's Country!). I'm not kidding about the GOD'S COUNTRY thing...there's a sign when you enter the county that tells you that. After driving thru Potter County, i've decided that GOD must like twisty narrow roads and cow pastures, since that's ALL I SAW! Trust me, i grew up in the country, but Potter County is officially the Middle Of Nowhere! Still..it's a great place to camp, start bonfires and sip a cool beer.  Posted by Picasa

Hurricane Katrina has been traumatic for EVERYONE, it's hit a little close to me this weekend. First off, my cousin and her boyfriend had to evacuate their place in Mississippi. They're doing OK, despite the hard conditions. Also, I just found out that one of my very good friends is being deployed to Mississippi to help with water purification. She doesn't know how long she'll be gone.

I can't wait for the benefit concert wednesday night. More details are online at www.993kissfm.com. Hope to see everyone there!

FRIDAY! Woohoo! I made it thru an entire week of filling in for the Morning Mess. Ugh. I'll be SO happy to sleep in a little tomorrow. I'm so sick of getting up at 4:45am. There's a reason i don't do the morning show. Twice in my career i've done mornings, and it's not happening again!

This weekend, it's vacation for me and the wifey. We're going camping with some good friends of ours. I'm really looking forward to it. I even bought a new tent. Originally, we were gonna take the Jeep and doing some mudding...but since gas is $3.20 a gallon, i think we'll take the Jetta. I love my Jeep, but it only gets 20 miles a gallon. Damned gas prices. I'll be riding my bike to work next week (seriously...please don't run me over!)

FYI: KISS FM is throwing a CONCERT FOR A CAUSE on wednesday night at the H-burg Hardware Bar. Javier will be performing, plus we'll have a TON of autographed gear to raffle off. 50 Cent, Avril, Game, Green Day and a whole lot more have all contributed the autographs! Please bring a cash donation for the American Red Cross. Every cent we make is going straight to relief efforts for Hurricane Katrina.

It's Thursday mornin', and i'm starting to drag. Every time i fill in for the morning show, thursday is the WORST! On monday and tuesday, there's still a novelty to getting up at 430am. Wednesday is ok, but thursday sucks! so, as i struggle thru today, i'll suck down coffee and look forward to my 2:30 tee-time. (yay! golf)
