Is it strange that he wore a plain white t-shirt...and the band's NAME is Plain White T's? I asked him when i interviewed him later...he said it was a coincidence.

The band SKILLET stopped by the FM97 studios this morning for breakfast and an acoustic performance. It was very cool of them to come two hours out of their way to meet us today. We're one of the first stations to play their new song "the older i get"...so they wanted to stop by and say THANKS.















I wasn't kidding about having breakfast with the band! here's what it looks like when you get 20 SMILEY breakfasts from Eat-N-Park.















The band performs in our "intimate concert venue"...also known as the "conference room".















Then it was time to sign oodles of autographs for fans!
















Finally, we rounded up the troops for the "group photo". oooh, we're sexy.

On Sunday, we headed to the palatial mansion of WHP's Bob Hauer for some burgers and volleyball.















Does the lovely ellie have another party to attend? her cell phone is BLOWING UP with text messages. I swear...she gets more texts in a day than i do in a month. could it be my lack of friends? perhaps..














Here i am showing off my legendary volleyball skills. This was actually OBSTACLE Volleyball. We were playing barefoot, and then realized that there was dog poop in the yard. Mike Miller is still washing his feet!

It's another exciting season of Keggers softball! We'll sell you the entire seat...but you'll only need the EDGE! There's nothing more exciting than watching us spot a team a 27 run lead...only to STORM back in the bottom of the 7th with a furious rally. and yet we still lose by 16.

Here's the first "obvious product placement picture" of the season. Laura spent the entire off season watching Nascar drivers take sips from their drinks while on camera, and she's perfected it.



















T-Bone warms up with TWO bats...in honor of the TWO pieces that his lower leg was broken into during a horrific incident involving a scooter, a cow and some schoolgirls.















T-Bone and I give everyone a quick GUN SHOW...and then immediately head the Charlie Brown's to drown our sorrows after a 16 run loss.

Sunday i grabbed the rake and shovel and went to work on the tangled mass of weeds in my flower bed. I haven't touched that bed since we moved in a year ago, and it showed! Wow. I ended up pulling an entire forest of weeds out of here. I worked on the soil...set the landscape timbers back in place and added a few bags of autumn red mulch. whew. I'm sure the neighbors who live next to this flower bed appreciate the work, since they dont have to look at pile of weeds anymore when they walk outside! haha.

This weekend i was broadcasting at the Hamilton Arms in Lancaster. I got to meet the largest bunny rabbit i've ever seen, and he was dressed up. You can't make this stuff up..it's too good!

Saturday night was DENNISPALOOZA! It's Dennis' birthday, so he throws a huge party out back at his house. This year's theme was "white trash". So i grabbed my cowboy hat and tank-top and headed out!




















Ellie said "i thought you were supposed to dress differently than normal". Har har har. I don't wear cowboy hats at home dear....
